I took my camera and some bread (quite a LOT of bread) down to the banks of the Murray River in Mildura, and waited for some pelicans....and I didn't have to wait long.

If you look closely, you can see the bulge at the side of his neck, which is the bread going down whole....
that huge net-shaped beak doesn't miss catching much.

Public Transport: a local bus service run by Sunraysia Bus Lines travels several routes about town.
