Many of the small towns and hamlets in western Canada have a farmer's market where the locals sell their home grown produce. They generally begin in May and go to December. Goodies include, baked goods, preserves, sausage, meats, fresh garden produce and fruit, honey, handicrafts...plus it's a nice place to socialize with the friendly folk. |
