Ah, Barcelona, Spain. There are so many sights to see, so many museums to visit, so much great architecture to behold. So, my friend, prepare those blurred and bloodshot eyes.

See, this is Barna, where your corner bakery can get a liquor license as easily as a pound of flour, and beer is cheaper than bottled water....and a bottle of wine, well, that's slightly more - it'll set you back the price of one venti latte, at one cafe, of one (shrinking) American giant.

Can you dig it?

Now, not every visitor needs to pay homage to the public drinking on The Ramblas, nor barf up a lung in the Barrí Gotic to feel part of the city. In fact, Barcelona is the gateway to some very serious wine country. You might just want to pick up a bottle and gaze over the metropolis from a more...hmm....refined perspective.
