Bir El Ater like other algerian regions, is very rich with artisanal products especially carpets.
This is called locally 'Draga', it's thin and not heavy so before it was used mainly to cover with, however now it's used as a decor or simply to put it on the ground. The motifs and the colors are very beautiful and they cound be different from carpet type to other.
