It is a mosaic of colors and of scents with olives, dates, oranges and other fruits and vegetables, spices, etc… Moreover, as there is no tourist's pressure, people are more welcoming, do not mind about photos and do not ask for money. If you are in Algeria and want to buy some local products then go to the markets or handicraftshops. They sell carpets as well as all kinds of handicrafts and souvenirs.
