Favorite thing: This is another close up. It shows Hôtel El-Aurassi, a five stars hotel with a superb view on the bay and a long history
Several historical events took place in Hotel El-Aurassi:
- Front of firmness, 1978
- OPEC / Opaep meeting, 1981
- Summit of the Arab Heads of State, 1988
I have not put Hôtel El-Aurassi in the hotels because it is much too expensive but it is a landmark in Algiers.

Favorite thing: You will find small shops everywhere around Algiers, not necessarily only in the market area. I love how the goods are openly displayed on the street.
