There are many busses that connect Annaba with most of the cities around Annaba and even much further. Even in very small hamlets, you will find this sign that means that there is a regular bus connection. However, you will have to ask locals when it is coming.
The airport has been given the name of President Mohamed Boudiaf that was assassinated in Annaba. Annaba airport is connected by regular flights with most airports inside Algeria (four times a day with Algiers). It has regular flights with Paris, Lyon, Marseille and Djeddah.

The first photo does not represent a mosque but the clock tower of the train station. That makes sense : you have better to know the time to catch your train! There are regular connections with Algiers (10h), Oran and other places
Annaba can be easily reached by road either from Algiers (west to Annaba), from Tunis (East to Annaba) and from Constantine (South). The main roads are in good condition but the traffic is very heavy and you cannot drive fast.
