The best way to get to Lubango is taking a domestic flight from Luanda by using TAAG, the Angolan national airline carrier.
I'm not sure on how many daily flights are to Lubango but I took one that departed at 7:00am from Luanda. The flight made a stop in Benguela but it's direct on the way back. A direct flight is about one hour long between Luanda and Lubango and costs USD$112 dollars each way. The planes are new and usually not crowded with passengers.
