The road from Luanda is in pretty good condition apart from a couple of seriously rough spots. the last 40KM area bit of a nightmare but you just have to hold! it's nothin too serious just dam bumpy!

The journey is worth it even just for the scenery... A couple of hours out of Luanda you begin to see the mountains which are pretty spectacular. You pass through some interesting places too like Sumbe and there is a bridge which passes a big canyon... pretty cool.
