If you really want to push your luck eat from one of the many street vendors along any road or pathway. I was able to bring some Miltary, Meals Ready to Eat. A Lifesaver for me.You see lots of fried fish. I was not brave enough to try the vendors.

My favorite restaurant in is in the main city, Cotonou, called The Berlin. It is owned by a German man, but have some French influence. There are a few other good restaurants. La Caravel is one of them. Rice with Pima pepper

This is one of the whitest places in Benin, but the pizzas (CFA 4-5000!) arent bad, and neither is the beer. No west african food whatsoever tho.
