Ghanzi Craft: Ostrich shells & Devil's Claws
The Ghanzicraft co-operative produces textiles, bags, bow-and-arrow sets, dancing skirts, ostrich eggshell necklaces, woven mats and dolls, with all proceeds going to the San craftspeople. You can buy local examples of Bushman art from Ghanzi Craft. Ostrich eggshell necklaces make a fine souvenir of your visit and you’ll probably get a chance to see them made by the women, who come to work outside the shop. Devil’s Claw (Root) tea comes from this area and is sold already packaged all over Botswana.
