This Restaurant, in the hotel of the same name is probably the best in town. The food is excellent and well presented, while the service is first rate. Tables are set out in the courtyard of the hotel, which is nice to lounge around in on a balmy night. Prices aren't cheap by Burkina standards, but all in all it's well worth it.

Don't confuse this with the American McDonalds(there are none in Burkina Faso). This is a nice laid back sort of place with a rather funky atmosphere. Menu includes burgers, steak, chicken, pastas, salads, and fruit juices. Service is good, and food is tasty.

An easy day trip from Bobo Dioulasso
We had not found hippos along the Upper Black Volta River in Ghana at the sanctuary outside Wa, but we found plenty of them in the rather small Lake Tengrela, near Banfora. The Volta river currents......
Coming from Bobo to Banfora, we pass along the scenic foot of the Banfora Escarpment. Banfora is a good base to visit the area. A good place to stay and to eat is the Hotel Canne à Sucre (sugar cane)....
