    Throne of the king ?

We walked around the kings palace. Behind the place we saw some huts with an open space in front. Between the huts we saw a mud structure which looks like a kind of throne.

Our guide explained us this is the place when the king comes out of his compound and where he sits down while the villagers come to pay hommage to the king. When we passed it was just an open space with nobody around.

We saw also some round structures. I can't remember exactly, but I think our guide told us these are graves.

During our walk in the village we met some friendly people of the village. Some small kids were afraid to see us white people and looked for protection by their parents or older brother .

We also stumbled on a roofed open air school. The kinds were sitting on the ground with their books. Also the teacher was around. She was happy to get some pencils.

    Stroll in the village

We made a small walk in the village. The palace is surrounded by the huts of the village, built with mudbricks and covered by thatched roofs. We met some villagers, had a small talk.

Luckily there were some big trees in the village. Animals like a donkey and some pigs stand and lay down in the shade of the trees. Guinea fowls walked around freely. Laid back atmosphere.
