Great food and has been rarely a crowd on multiple visits. Spice and heat can be tailored to your liking, and we had mild thru hot. Ambiance is good with ample indoor and outdoor patio/grass seating. Air conditioning inside. French, English and Indian spoken.

Strange place in the centre, not far from the market.
Local music.
Seems to be the meeting point of young ?Rasta? of the city.
Funny and friendly atmosphere.
Basic food, cold beer.
Less expensive than average.

Excellent food of the Ivory Coast prepared and served by native Ivoirians. I highly recommend this place for the delicious dishes and upbeat staff, who seem to be very happy to see you. One interesting note: Jacques Chirac ate here, as evidence by proudly displayed photos. I'm sure he enjoyed it as much as I did.
Favorite Dish: The fish with peppers and onions-outstanding!

The " gigot à la ficelle" is un super restaurant, situated in front of the artisanal village (Siao).
very beautiful frame, very good reception and service by waitresses and waiters on rollers, please !
The gigot à la ficelle, the speciality, (lamb of mutton) is completely exceptional.
A convivial atmosphere every evening, with a little group of music, and various events : acrobats, rollers shows, singers, traditional music...
Set menu not expensive.
A new place to discover
Favorite Dish: Obviously the Gigot (mutton) with the "tian" (potatoes cooking with goose grease)

Great envoirment, good service, nice food, reasonable price. We had a dinner for 9 people, it costed 83000 CFA (around USD 170). It's also a gallery, almost everything you see in the restaurant, you can purchase it if you like, the chair you are sitting, the painting on the wall, all the decoration......I bought five 12-inch african-style bronze-like statue for 10000 CFA each (around USD 20 each).

Changes a bit.
Good value for money.

It’s quite hard to really enjoy a city after two weeks spent in the so quiet Dogon Country… At least for me: I’m already missing “my” baobabs and cliffs. Anyway, I hardly appreciate cities, here or......

The city of the motorbikes and bicycles

Ouagadougou fights for being a modern city, with an African air that I liked very much. It's calmer than it's neighbourg Bamako
