On our way from Ouaga to Mali we passed villages not only with round huts, but also a lot of quadrangular buildings appear. We see the first little mosques wit conic forms.

The children along the road were always very curious to look at us.It was not always easy to talk with them in french.

In the north of Burkina Faso the landscape was more varied.For me the baobabs are the most fascinating trees of Africa.

On our way from Togo to Ouaga w saw a lot small villages and compounds with round huts. In Ghana I learned how cool they could be in this hot climate.

At our walk through the town we passed this mosque at the time of calling for the prayers.One of the guardians Moussa beckoned us for a little talk an a picture.

When I visit Ouaga there were a lot of building activities. Amazing the contrast with the older parts of the centre.I wonder how the centre will look now after all those years.

At the bicycle market are ca 100 small workshpos for repair and sale of bikes.I've never seen at one place so many bikes together in Africa.

Ouagadougou's Grande Marché is well worth a visit, with lots of interesting stalls full of religous and tribal items.
