these are everywhere - you can find Vonda's (not the honda) - the japs will very soon run for their money.
You can find yellow color taxis to go around; you can choose to share or hire exclusive ones for yourself.

This was a very scary experience! We began the 2 1/2 hr journey in the rain! How do I know it was raining? I saw it outside? NO! Because the bus was leaking from the top down!!! It was hillarious to see everyone putting paper, bags and coats over their heads and screaming with disgust! HA HA HA! I have been in Africa long enough to know when it rains... It pours on you!
Also the drivers are friggin crazy! They will pull within a couple of inches from the car in front of them to make their pass! Then they will pass on a hill or curve! I just closed my eyes half the time and thought of my happy place!
When the bus stops for the highway patrol (which has a rope they must put down before you can pass) the locals come out to sell you goods. I didnt want to eat, but it was interesting to be surrounded in an instant!
There were some incredible views as we tried to beat the sun into Yaounde and Douala though. The people on the roads and different sights you see make you appreciate what you have!
