Tradissom e Morabeza is one of the best restaurants on the island. It has traditional Cape Verdean food and great live music by local artists. Furthermore, the open roof adds a special flavour to an already wonderful evening. It's a great place. Jorge Sampaio, the president of Portugal, also had dinner there on his last trip to the islands.

You can have a continental dinner here on the terraces of Hotel Porto Grande, while overlooking the ever busy Praça Amilcar Cabral. Ofcourse live music is provided.

A very nice place to have the traditional cachupa breakfast and coffee/juice, continental breakfast and sandwiches are also served.
