Mindelo Travel Guide

 brancolini Says:  After dinner, you can't miss a walk at the Pracinha (the central square).Lots of people (tourists, but mainly locals) just walk around it, mostly in one direction. There are also esplanades where you can take a coffee or a drink.

 brancolini Says:  Café Lisboa is the spot where everyone meets. A long-lasting fame has seduced great travelman, musicians, philosofers and even politicians.Foreign people who live in Mindelo often hang out there. Closest coffee to the portuguese one, but still far away... 

 brancolini Says:  Should you ever get homesick, you can always go to this disco. Although you can listen to some african dance music, it's mostly western music. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is not like in western discos. People act differently... Take a look Casual 

 fedric Says:  No San Miguel on Saõ Vicente is not only an airport and a long beach : it is a living city and its people sometime need to go to Mindelo. From the airport, instead of taking a Taxi, either wait for a taxi-minibus (aluguer) coming from the ocean's-side or walk to San Miguel...
