Bomba'H is a hugely popular nightspot in Praia, especially during the summertime when Capeverdians living abroad visit their country of origin for a few weeks. The club organizes special theme nights in August to cater for the emigrants - there are Paris or Rotterdam theme nights then. If you want to enjoy cool clubbing this is the right place. Action usually starts rather late - going before 2 am does not make sense and you'll dance till the early morning. Lots of Capeverdian music like Zouk, Funana, local HipHop, but also international stuff. And be sure that people are not just standing around, but dancing like crazy and you'll easily meet locals - if you speak Portuguese or crioulo.
Dress Code: Casual, but don't dress too sloppy - locals make a lot of effort with their outfit and hair

The Alkimist is a laid back beach restaurant and bar. Great spot to enjoy the sunset with a drink. If you already feel hungry you might try some of the rather good Italian food there too.
