The Poet and the Garden Grill are both very good. The Poet has probably the best view in Praia, overlooking the harbor, and the Garden Grill live music some nights.

A: Mindelo is in my opinion the most attractive town in Cape Verde. Nice town by the sea with colonial buildings and a pretty decent local nightlife.
