This wreck is on one of the endless beaches in Boavista. As a curiosity, it wrecked in 1968, stand proud until 2002. In December i toured the island and hardly saw another tourist.
Take the opportunity to go walking in the hills. The island of Santo Antão offers some great walking in spectacular scenery.

A: Mindelo is in my opinion the most attractive town in Cape Verde. Nice town by the sea with colonial buildings and a pretty decent local nightlife.
