A must
When you've had enough of sun sand and watersport, I can recommend a trip - done by Hotel - to the perfume flower plantation. You will never forget the smells and fracances of this area - get yourself a sample of concentrated perfume oil, one drop in your bathwater and your house will smell like heaven for a week!!

Comoros has the most wonderful swimming beaches, warm sea, and the hotels have water sport. Just relax and forget everything for a few days and enjoy the sea and the sunshine of this very romantic island.

Lac Sale or "Salt Lake" is an extraordinary. No one knows how deep this lake is and it seems to have a direct connection with the ocean.
There is a legend associated with this lake. A thirsty traveler asked for water and no one in the village gives this traveller the water he was asking. God was so angry by so much egoism that he flowed all the village with water.

Located in a strategic position at the northern end of the Mozambique Channel, the Comoro Islands once played a major role in a thriving world economy of the western Indian Ocean. The archipelago arose from the seabed of the western Indian Ocean as the result of volcanic activity. The four major islands: Ngazidja (Grande Comore), Mwali (Moheli), Nzwani (Anjouan), and Maore (Mayotte), are of varying age with distinct topograhical characteristics. Mayotte, the oldest of the islands, is closest to Madagascar and is highly eroded with slow, meandering streams. Ngazidja, the youngest of the islands is closest to Africa and has a massive, active volcano.
