    In the big cities, at the coastline, in the national parks and near the tourist attractions you can always find art shops or local artists selling their items.

    There's a souvenir market running along the road right outside Abijan. Souvenirs are of good quality, I liked the quality of carved wood. Always bargain, try to reduce the price as much as you can.

    I paid about USD100 for one carved wooden bowl (about 20 cm diameter), two carved wooden elephants (about 20 cm in size) and about 15 small hippopotamuses (5-7 cm in size).
