The marche can be the worst trap there is. Be careful when shopping. Often the merchants team up and will offer you the same item all for about the same price. Try to bargain. It's an acquired skill but well worth it. Be sure to verify the quality of your product befor purchasing.

There is not any one area I considered a tourist trap; however, the American and European will encounter many adults and children offering to shine your shoes, carry your bags, 'watch' your parked car, and the like..all for a 'small price'. The American and European can also expect to pay higher prices for items since they are not natives. This picture displays an 'entertainer' outside of a beach-front restaurant earning his living. The other people around him are all carrying their wares in hopes of selling them to the patrons of the restaurant.
