Mayombo Park in the northern outskirts of Lubumbashi is a mini-safari park with some herbivores freely roaming around the grasslands, although some baboons are tied up because of mischievousness. You can hire a quadbike and whizz around the place or take a leisurely trip around on a jeep. There is a large children's playground section too. It's a good day out of Lubumbashi.
