Sunset over the Nile at Kom Ombo

Dawns and sunsets over the Nile made huge impression on me. We have arrived in Kom Ombo just before sunset. It was necessary to hurry up to the Temple to have time to photograph it before it was coming dark. However the huge sphere of the sun gradually falling waters of the Nile attracted not less, than an ancient Temple.

I have offered some minutes of excursion and observed a sunset admiring with its beauty and predefiniteness.

    Sugar factory

I drove back from Aswan to Luxor by a private taxi. I was surprised to see that behind the official touristic road (nile cruise and the famous temple) there is some kind of local heavy industry - sugar production.

    Next to the temple

Kom Ombo has more to show than the famous temple only.
The inner city , with it's many minarets and colorfull houses, but also look at the heavy industry of sugar production.

    Colorful houses

My trip by private bus - from Aswan to Luxor.
You will see many things, street scénes and heavy industry. The trip takes about three hours, but you will not regret it.
