Local boats in the water: Boat shopping
Small boats pull up beside cruise ships and they throw ropes up to you. To shop tell them what you would like to see. They then attach the item(s) and you pull them up. Then the bargaining begins! If you can't agree, then send the item back down. If you do agree, then you send the money. You have limited time. I saw one tourist play games with these tradesmen. They are trying to make a living, so if you are not interested, please let them row around the ship to find interested customers. I bought a camel for a relatively small amount. They bargain quickly and are real fun to watch. Toy camels, Mother-of-pearl boxes, hats, tea sets, stolls, and more. You have to bargain!
