Luggage and bags: It better to use a backpack and not carry much on the mountain because will slow down the climbing.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Even if you climb Mt. Sinai in the summer months there are some mandatory things to take along: socks, hat, good walking shoes, scarf, sweater or jacket.
On the top of the mountain is really cold.
The ones that are not willing to carry anything with them, they can rent blankets for 10 LE (USD 2-).

Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Don't forget also a pocket lamp. It will be more than useful for the final part of the climbing.

Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: It is cold during the extreme hours of early morning. So be prepared for light and warm clothing. If not, you can rent some blankets at the summit for a fee. In addition, you can rent the mattress where you can sat on whiling waiting for the first ray of sunlight. See more pics for blanketys and mattress.
In addition, bring along a torch of course.
