The Hard Rock is situated at the Southern end of Naama Bay. Quite easily recognised by the guitar built through the main entrance. It opened about 5 years ago and has become popular for its night life. If you are feeling a little home sick pop in for a drink or a snack or dance the night away.

little buddah is just opening. it's underneath the naama bay hotel next to the mexican restaurant. it's a sushi bar and night club. it was just finished on our last night in naama bay and they were inviting people in to eat, drink and dance for free to get feedback before visiting dignitaries came from cairo. how lucky was that!? it's an amazing wee place you go in and you're instantly on the balcony overlooking a circular subterranean dance floor (the sushi bars down there off to one side.) i think it will be quite expensive when it opens properly but people we spoke to say it's better than Pacha and that's about the same price. (staff at the hotel reckon it'll be about LE120 ($20) to get in with one free drink once you're in there)
i went in with reef sandals, camo shorts and a sweaty t shirt but i reckon they'll get stricter as time goes on. all the egyptians and russians were impeccably dressed and the italians were their usual smart selves. Emma and I really enjoyed eating, drinking, smoking shisha and watching the world go by each evening at these pavement cafes.
In January the temperature drops to about 8 degrees so wrap up warm. As soon as the sun goes down you will feel a sharp change in temperature in Janusary. Leave a Comment Theme: People Watching

In the evening you'll see this type of outdoor café absolutely everywhere in Naama bay. Lounge about on comfy floor cushions or low sofas, while sipping a drink, having a snack or a light meal, or smoking shisha (water pipe) in various flavours (the apple flavoured one is particularly popular!) - and watching about a gazillion other tourists walking by. Always nice to chill out after a *hard* day of snorkelling, sun bathing, shopping, ice cream eating... ;o) Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and DrinkingAddress: All over Naama Bay!

Took time to find but when finally found Irish Bar (at Ocean Bay Hotel, next to taxi parking) it was certainly bworth it. Food was excellent, must try their chicken enchilladas. Music was mixed and cool, some of the best i heard in Sharm. Staff were freindly and manager Dave was top man. Tell everybody about this place...don't visit Sharn without enjoying a Guinness at Shenanigans and say hi to Dave from me and the gang

This was a Thomson excursion but I'm sure similar evenings are arranged by all the hotels and by local companies. We travelled from Sharm into the desert and into a Bedouin camp. This was set up for tourists but had a good and genuine feeling about it - a bit like the "Living History" camps you might find at a Sealed Knot battle re-enactment here at home. We were welcomed with a cup of hot, minty Bedouin tea and then invited to smoke the hubbly-bubbly. I'd been practising snorkelling all day so sucking instead of blowing felt a bit strange to this non-smoker!! It tasted of liquorice by the way! During this time we heard the final call to prayer from the local mosque - the only time I heard it during this holiday as usually there was too much music and activity going on. An evocative and wonderful experience. Sitting in a tent on floor cushions, we learned about the Bedouin way of life, had the opportunity to buy a few trinkets and then enjoyed a wonderful meal - salads, couscous, yoghurt, fish, kofta, soft drink, lovely. This was followed by stargazing - and the sky was absolutely full of stars and of course there was no light pollution. Massive telescopes were set up to give us great views of stars, of Saturn and of Jupiter. Amazing. The whole evening felt real, and our party was small which added to the feeling of genuineness. Well done Thomson!
Mosquito repellent is a good idea. Closed, comfortable shoes for walking on the sand (which can be stony). Long sleeves and trousers or a long skirt would be advisable as it is a bit cooler at night. Leave a Comment Theme: Eating and Drinking

We heard some good reports last year and didnt go so thought why not give it a try. We went to check out the price one afternoon and got a free tour of the restuaruant, arena and some of the art work etc. it was all quite spectacular. We purchases our tickets that day for the english night, and got to choose which seats we wanted in the restaurant. Total cost 180 EGP which includeds buffet dinner, entertainment whilst eating and than the Sound and Light Show. Check out the Gallary of photos on the website (under Sharm El Sheikh - Alf Leila Wa Leila)

It is an open air and the only music place that is updating itself with the quality of music and service to their clients. It is a crazy place. You will have fun , if you dont dance you will listen to music, if you dont listen to music you can have some drinks from the bar and will like the music and dance. If you like nothing then you can watch people , You will have fun.
anything goes but make sure not to look bad and out of place. No suits i am sure. Leave a Comment Theme: DancingAddress: Sanafir, Bus Stop, Le pasha, Naama BayDirections: You will find it i am sure. just follow the crowd in the walking street of naama bay.
