A super extraordinary place!
Pacha is known as the best nightlife spot in Sharm You haven't been to Pacha you haven't seen anything in Sharm...lol
Well, it's an open air disco:-) and this particular 'open air' creates an amazing atmosphere which also derives from the design, from people :-)
Dress Code: ANYYYYYYY !!!! ...Within certain limits ofcourse :-) however..... you may always try ;-)

Took time to find but when finally found Irish Bar (at Ocean Bay Hotel, next to taxi parking) it was certainly bworth it.
Food was excellent, must try their chicken enchilladas. Music was mixed and cool, some of the best i heard in Sharm.
Staff were freindly and manager Dave was top man. Tell everybody about this place...don't visit Sharn without enjoying a Guinness at Shenanigans and say hi to Dave from me and the gang

Go to the Camel Bar. It's quite British but a bit more cosmopolitan than your typical BritBar. They show English and Scottish football and other world sports. The staff are cool and the beers reasonable. Try the Sakara -LE16 for a pint bottle of lovely dry lager. The local Stella is ok as well if a bit fruitier than the Stella. Stick to beer is my advice. The wine is, without the very occasional exception, absolutely rotten and the spirits are way overpriced. The camel is an excellent place to meet people and swap diving stories and tips for good excursions / dive companies. Just rock up to the bar, introduce yourself and let the beer do the talking!

little buddah is just opening. it's underneath the naama bay hotel next to the mexican restaurant. it's a sushi bar and night club. it was just finished on our last night in naama bay and they were inviting people in to eat, drink and dance for free to get feedback before visiting dignitaries came from cairo. how lucky was that!? it's an amazing wee place you go in and you're instantly on the balcony overlooking a circular subterranean dance floor (the sushi bars down there off to one side.) i think it will be quite expensive when it opens properly but people we spoke to say it's better than Pacha and that's about the same price. (staff at the hotel reckon it'll be about LE120 ($20) to get in with one free drink once you're in there)
Dress Code: i went in with reef sandals, camo shorts and a sweaty t shirt but i reckon they'll get stricter as time goes on. all the egyptians and russians were impeccably dressed and the italians were their usual smart selves.

This Bar/Brasserie was built in the summer of 2004 and as such is new at the time of writting. It is bright and almost posh, but at the same time very laid back and friendly. They have a couple of small screens on which they will show what people request rather than just leaving it on one channel. some nights you almost have the place to yourself, where as other nights it can get pretty busy.Prices are at the cheaper end of the scale for Naama bay.
Dress Code: Pretty much anything except probably beach wear.

Emma and I really enjoyed eating, drinking, smoking shisha and watching the world go by each evening at these pavement cafes.
Dress Code: In January the temperature drops to about 8 degrees so wrap up warm. As soon as the sun goes down you will feel a sharp change in temperature in Janusary.

This is the night club in the Sanafir Hotel. This bar does not fill up until late and goes on until the very early hours. It makes a great prelude to Pacha.
Every Thursday there is a great and the biggest in Sharm House Party. It starts late - around midnight but the music is really good and the party itself is fun. So for those who love to party late - this is the place I would recommend. You really must see it!!!!

The Hard Rock is situated at the Southern end of Naama Bay. Quite easily recognised by the guitar built through the main entrance. It opened about 5 years ago and has become popular for its night life.
If you are feeling a little home sick pop in for a drink or a snack or dance the night away.

Pacha in Sharm is a bonus to the place. It adds a real clubbing element to Naama bay with guest dj's from around the world and excellent local talent too. It really does compare with Pacha in Ibiza and London. I can honestly say I prefer Pacha Sharm. The interior of the club is amazing with an open air dance floor, special raised vip area, foam pool (for the brave or stupid... all those germs yuck) it really is the piece de la resistance for Sharm. The owner Adly has done a superb job of putting Naama Bay firmly in the forefront of the world clubbing map. I recommend thursdays, a fantastic expereince with beautiful people, ballet dancers and trapeze artists, phat tunes. My friends and i had a super time there Sept 2004. Definatley a must for the discerning clubber, I cant wait to go back end of Jan 2005. Long live Pacha!!!
Dress Code: Pretty much anything goes here, you can be as outrageous as you like. Lots of stylish Italians in attendance, decked out in designer wear. I like to get dressed up to the max here!
