Part of Dragon group, I had already tried the Thai house which was brilliant, so I felt very disappointed at the China House, the food was ok, just a bit like an average Chinese takeaway in UK
I should have trusted my instinct, as we were the only people in the place, the waiter made us feel like we were causing an inconvenience by being there, no condiments or toothpicks provided etc, needless to say we had our food (left a lot) and left.
Very clean, simple decor in Thai oriental style,
We ate there several times, and everything was perfect, I dont like rice much, but I scoffed half of Hubbies, all the food was piping hot, and absolutely delicious,
What made it extra special was the service, besides not waiting an age for the next course, the Waiters were brilliant without fawning, Emad was a Gem, a genuine lovely Fella,
The prices were brilliant as well, about £20 for two courses including two beers, Emad gave us a desert on every occasion with no charge.
Favorite Dish: Thai red curry, Prawn fried rice, Thai spring rolls, Prawn & chicken noodles, fried banana with ice cream
Just like a TGI fridays back in England, but alot cheaper and tons more for your money. In fact everywhere you go virtually is like that in Egypt but TGI's stands out. As with everywhere else you get the first class service and treatment from the staff and although i'm a lover of trying the local foods and delicacies, after a while of eating them in the heat, with the spices etc. you do need a taste from home. I never thought i'd hear myself say it but all the diners and fast food places out in sharm are great and all close together around Naa'ma bay. You've got KFC which worked out in English about £1.70 a meal, which was massive compared to back home. Pizza hut was great too with me and my girlfriend having a medium pizza each and unlimited sprite, all for £6-£8.00. McDonalds too was amazing with it's selection of burgers that we don't get back in England. You can get a Mc Arabia, which is either kofte lamb burger with mild spicy sauce, or chicken pattty, chicken big mac, and all the special burgers that are only available in England for limited periods are always available there. The size of the order's huge, you get a litre of drink, bucket of chips and the burgers are alot bigger than back home too. Works out about £2.60 a meal, and there's only one size - MASSIVE. Top of the list though is TGI's with it's huge selection of burgers, steaks and diner foods, cocktails and music etc. Prices a little higher but well worth it.
Favorite Dish: Has to be the steak, medium rare, none of that pollution of a pepper sauce on top, just good old steak the way it was meant to be served, juicy and on it's own other than a few fries and peas. I eat alot of steak and they cooked mine to perfection, which most steak eaters will agree with me, it's hard to get somewhere to get the steak how you want it, so i was very satisfied with the chef. The cocktails to wash it down with are great too.
For those who dnt have adventurous Stomachs and have a feel of Home sickness, the famous brands of Fast Foods are not far behind...You can get your choice from KFC , Pizza Hut to TGI Friday... so even the prices are really kool...so try to have one of your quick rush meals at these place.
Favorite Dish: hmm.....anything goes..probably the good old Chicken Bucket.

Fernando at Mohamed al Yamina road in old Sharm has the best italian food i ever had outside of Italy.... as a real food lover i can only suggest that when you get tired of the food at your all inclusive resort that you treat your tastebuds to this delicious food prepared by real italians.
Restaurant, Sushi Bar and Lounge
When you walk into the Little Buddha restaurant you might forget that you're in Egypt. The ambiance is chic and could pass for an authentic restaurant in asia.
The mix of Asian cuisine on the menu will awe you. And the food will impress you even further.
* Every Wednesday night is Girls Night Out - Free Entrance and 1 drink
Favorite Dish: Sushi
Banana and Jackfruit Lumpia...yum!
Whatever you do after a few sherberts DON'T go for a donna as you pass the Ghazala beach. Not that i had one but the meat was standing all day in the open, so the flys and other unwanted critters had one hell of a feast!
Many people rave about this restaurant, so gave it a try, i'm afraid it wasn't overly good, on the night we were there, they were doing a special, a bit of everything, cost about 120LE each, the starters were ok but the meat was charred beyond belief and have to say pretty plain. Might of been that we turned up on an off night. On a positive note there was entertainment belly dancer etc.
Tandoori has the best Indian food I've found in Egypt.
Pomodoro has an excellent lunch buffet for just 37 LE. There is a mix of food available both hot and cold.
The Camel Bar has a roof top restaurant with an eclectic menu.
Also, check out the website for information on diving with the Camel Dive Club!
Favorite Dish: The chicken masala is the best. Order some garlic naan bread to go with your dish.
My new favorite restaurants is Viva next to the Al Diar hotel or along the beach at Red Sea Dive College. The chain also includes Pomodoro and a few others around Na'ama Bay. I've eaten at three different ones around and they all offer about the same quality and service food.
The restaurant next to Falcon al Diar has a nice outdoor seating area. The two main waiters were always so friendly and after my first time eating there, they were always paying extra attention to me as a repeat customer. They even gave me a coupon for an extra 10-15% off the entire bill when I mentioned that I wanted to bring my friends!
The Viva on the beach boardwalk has a nice beach-front setting with a bar as well as an inside air-conditioned area. They also serve meals inside the Red Sea Dive College which was great for having a snack after getting off the dive boat!
Favorite Dish: They have awesome steaks and delicious sea-food (their signs sometimes read sae-food). You can also get traditional Egyptian fares like hummus or kofta.
The seafood bisque was really delicious and so was the several fish/combo dishes I tried out. Everyone in our group of 20+ were impressed with the quality and size of the steaks.
For a quick snack, I'd recommend the pizzas. There was one pizza with tomatos and olives which was quite nice. If you like your pizza with a lot of sauce make sure to ask for extra as the pizza is served up on thick bread crusts with just a little bit of sauce.
But my favorite thing to order in Egypt isn't food but rather tea with mint. There is just something really nice about having a couple fresh mint leaves in your tea :)
Food served in 20 mins from ordering, the setting & portion was genrious. They usually play ambient lounge music or some arabic (by asking it was lebanese). The restaurant is located in bowling st. in quite place from the noise Naama Bay, still near to the bay though
Favorite Dish: Grilled Chicken was just fine ;-)
What can i say really? Its KFC and Pizza Hut and its the same where ever you go in the World. Here in Sharm it is half the price as it is in England. Thats the only difference really. Same food, same smell, restaurant even looks the same. KFC & Pizza Hut are ideal for those fussy eaters or one craving some greasy fast food.
It is located in the heart of Naama Bay, close to Mc Donalds. The restaurants are air conditioned and are very clean.
Mc Donalds is a quick and convenient fast food! I was in Naama Bay during the day and not many restaurants were open, so i decided to pop here. I got two meals for approx £4.50, what a bargain. Not only that, but the standard meals were the size of extra large meals in the UK and bigger!
I had a 'Big Mac meal' and the burger was huge - american size! The fries i could of just eaten on its own and quite happily of been full, also the drink was very big!
As this were value for money, they didn't taste the same as it did in the UK. I prefer the meals in the UK, but you can't grumble for the price and conveiniece!
