Horse Riding

Visit the most professional equestrian center in Sharm. Edelweiss Equestrian is owned and operated by Mr. Mohamed Dardiery. He has many years of experience and training. They do a lovely trail ride in the mountain, desert, beach, etc at various durations depending on your request. They have a special beach excursion on horseback to Nabq National Park. Lovely to do at sunset and you can walk the horses in the water. There's horses for all riding levels, which is great. They also do lessons if you want to learn how to ride properly or if you want to learn to jump the horse or dressage. The horses are beautiful and well taken care of. They have about 30 horses at the center. Great for kids also and prices are reasonable.

Spa Treatments

My visit to the spa was much needed after I fell ill with body aches and stress. I was physically drained of energy and as a believer of alternative healing, I went to the spa as was recommended by a friend. I came in for just one massage treatment, but spa therapist did such a great job, that I immediately requested an additional treatment. After my treatments, I felt like a new person. My body was free of pain and I felt energized.

They have a variety of treatments: full body massages, including Hot Stone Massage and Egyptian Herbal Massage with chamomille and mint, partial body massages, various facials, several different body scrubs, hammam--Turkish bath and Moroccan bath, After-sun treatment for sun damaged skin.

The steam room is gorgeous and very spacious. Great for warming your muscles up before your treatments and helping to detox. They also have a lovely private Turkish Bath room. This is great to get at the start of your holiday to help you get the best tan ever. The spa also has double rooms so if you go with a friend or your partner, you can do the treatments in the same room.

Prices are extremely reasonable. I recommend doing one of their packages. The price of their package is the same price and most of the hotels massages only. Really good deals. They can get busy, so best to book in advance.

Check out their facebook pages for photos www.facebook.com/orientalspasharm or www.facebook.com/groups/orientalspa and if you want iniformation, I just emailed them at spa@orientalrivoli.com

The interior decoration, calming atmosphere, friendly & professional staff, soothing spa music, reasonable prices and great professional service all contributed to my amazing experience at Oriental Spa & Hamam. It's a great place to renew your mind, body and spirit. Visit Oriental Spa & Hamam. :-)

Al Mustafa mosque - Sharm-el-Sheikh

This new building (it was not there in my previous visit) was inaugurated in 2008, and it is now one of the highlights in city tour (there is not much to show, indeed!). What can I say about it? It's rich(cost a fortune), it is big, with minarets 72 meters high, and it is nice, from the outside (we could not enter, due to religious service).

Take the Kiddies to Cleopark
mtcowgirl profile photo

3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

mtcowgirl 123 reviews

With more than 47,000 sqm of space, Cleopark is the first waterpark in the Sinai. Boasting more than 50 lifeguards on duty, the waterpark is the perfect place to take the kiddies for fun on Eygptian themed rides and regular waterslides.

There are seven different attractions and six slides. Depending on the age of the kiddes (5-50!) there is something for everyone from regular fun to hair-raising plunging slides. Some adventures require innertubes while others are normal waterslides.

The park is open from 10am until sunset all year round.

Why not treat the family to a fantastic Dolphin Show in Sharm. These are very clever animals and are amazing to watch. These beautiful animals are trained by Russians and you can watch them dance and perform acrobatics to the music and even get to see them draw! Fantastic. There are 3 gorgeous dolphins from the Black Sea.

The show is daily and starts at 3.00pm which lasts around 1 hour. You get picked up from your hotel at around 2.00pm. Prices are £26 per adult and £13 per child.

Night Boat Trip - Red Sea

We ordered this trip who an English woman who lived in Egypt setting up trips for only English people. we was recommended her before we went out there as being very cheap on trips and a good standard. She told us this trip was a run out on a boat to see the sun set and do some night swimming and chill out under the stars on a boat in the red sea. We booked it as it was a small cost and all food and drink where all inclusive in the price. When we arrived at the boat dressed in shorts and t-shirt ready to swim we where shocked to see only 1 other couple dressed the same out of around 8. The ages of the couple where us being the youngest at around 21 and the oldest looking around 60. Every one esle was dressed in dresses and shirts etc. After setting off on this boat so far out the captain stopped and with it still being abit light said you can go swimming or snorkelling now. Well the 6 other couples got told by there rep it was a champagne and candle lit dinner on a boat. The captain and tour guide explain it was basically what we had paid for. As you can see they wasn't happy with this but i carried on snorkelling and swimming. The sea was still lovely and warm and i could still see fish etc. Also the sun set was very nice to see and after all that i just laid on the back of the boat and watched the stars. For me it was an enjoyable evening where i just swam and chilled out. The food was good and plently off drinks as well. Worth giving a go just to watch the sun set and lay under the stars.

Desert Excursions

The desert is as wonderful a place to visit as the beach, and excursions there are very popular. Some of the most popular places to visit in the desert are Coloured Canyon, St. Catherine's Monastery, and the Feiran Oasis. You can even climb Mount Moses and take photographs. You can tour the desert in a number of different ways, including horseback riding, camel riding, and quad bikes.

Best way to relax - Turkish Bath

The best way to start your holiday is hav a good rest in Turkish bath. Where leave all stress and have grat relax from casual life.
Usualy hotels an tour operators offer things like that. But here is my advice - beter go by your own. Because it is much more cheaper. Four instance he basic turkis bath program what offer hotels and tour operators cost 25 -40$, but if you go by your on it will cost you just 15 $.

There is one great smol Turkish bath in sarm, and they provide good program ( chookolate masaga, aromaterapy and things like that) Also you can ask four transfer... they ofer that too - ( it is included)

I wisit it 2 times in my holiday time:0 it was great:)
Hav to find it?? Just call maneger. Mr. Ahmed - +20163664790... and he will arrange every thing:)

P.S. Notice it is Muslime country they dont ofer no alcoholic drinks, just tee, coffie :)
