Naama Bay is the main beach area in Sharm. There is a public section of the beach (near the middle) but most of the beach is split into sections which are allocated to groups of hotels.
Sunbeds are free of charge and there are plenty of places where you can get food and drink during the day either at bars on the beach or in the shops nearby.
The one "downtown" type area in Sharm el Sheikh is in the Na'ama bay area. Most of the pubs and restaurants are gathered here.
It is actually not so bad, as the streets are now blocked off to car traffic here, which makes walking around somewhat pleasant. (a rarity in traffic-bound Egypt)
Taxi ride from most of the resorts to Na'ama Bay will probably run you about 15 EP or so. ($2.50 USD)
Naama bay is the centre of Sharm. There are many shops where you can by from silver, gold, perfumes, and all kind of memories of Egypt. There are coffee shops where you can smoke shisha - very nice and drink different teas and coffees.
In the evening Naama is ful of people, but during the day it is very empty.
Naama bay is always life spot day and night m water sports are various in that small bay
Beach , swimming , Diving , snorkeling , Parasailing ,banana boat , pedalo all in one spot
Take a walk down the main tourist road in Naama Bay...Full of colourfull shisha bars, restaurants and stores, this is an ideal place to feel the life of the city.
