Well you can't go to Egypt and not at least try a shisha. Prices vary from LE6 to LE12 depending on where you are. We liked the apple one best. It is very nice to sit down with a drink after dinner and a shisha to wind down after a long day of sightseeing. This particular place was on the beach in Naama bay, basically just cushions on the ground, very relaxing place to come after dinner
... And then, the group stopped, sat, and prepared to a shisha smoke. I don't smoke, but, being a Roman in Rome, I had to taste it.

It is so awful as all the other tobacco, so I could concentrate in the tea, and laugh with my friends comments.

The tip about shisha on the beach dates from 2004 but I think you will find plenty of places to try shisha, during the daytime as well as in the evening, so you won't have any problems. Exposing your toddler to a tobacco smoke is of course not a good idea, so you'll want to sit outside to smoke. Apple tobacco is very nice indeed.
