In Taba and Taba Heights the nightlife is not really there, some shows with bellydancers are put on but all the hotel`s in this area are lacking anysort of night time excitment although you can have a good laugh with the bar staff.

The punters are all Israeli, and a sour and surly lot they are - have never seen such miserable faces... Staff are not all smiles as well. Dealers speak little English if at all.
The casino itself is relatively small, play is in USD only with a bank nearby offering extortionate exchnage rates. If you stay at the Hilton, this is more or less all there is in way of nightlife right now... Taba Heights is really just 3 4/5* hotels (a 4th is being built), there are a few restaurants at the back of the resort which can be reached using the bus that goes round the resort but we were on half board so didn't use them. All of the hotels are happy for you to go and use their facilites.
The Hyatt has a casino, and they all have several bars. The cave bar at the Marriott is very unique! If dancing is your thing the Marriott has a bar which is soundproofed where they have uptodate music & a dance floor.
All of the hotels have Egyptian nights which I was a little dubious about as I'm not a fan of hotel entertainment, however we went to the one at the Marriott (held on top of the cave bar)& the Sofitel. we also experienced a Bedouin Night at the Marriott which I really enjoyed, you sit under a sort of tent on the beach lounging on cushions and your food is brought round & you eat it with your hands. there was of couse belly dancing too!
A golf couse is being built at present, this is between the hotels & the "village" where the hotel workers live.
For watersports as non of the hotel have them on the beach there is a center which is reached on the free resort bus that calls at all of the hotels, the village & the watersports center. No dress code, although it's polite to the locals for men to wear long trousers but they will understand if you're too hat to do so. Theme: OtherAddress: Near main restaurant, El Wekala.Other Contact: Call hotel.
