The Egyptian authorities strictly enforce Egyptian law. Please regard, among other things, the following subjects:
1. Counterfeit money
2. Drugs/narcotics - even in the smallest quantity.
3. Any weapon and/or ammunition.
4. Pornographic materials are forbidden in Egypt.

When traveling in the Sinai region it is best to stay on guard. Automobile drivers at night do not drive with their lights on and only flash other drivers when a car is approaching. Also, one must look at not to be in crowded areas and avoid any places that do not look secure. In recent times Egyptian authorities have gotten tighter on allowing Muslim extremists into the Sinai region. Most of them try to target vacationing Israelis and Americans. Leave a Comment
