The Egyptian authorities strictly enforce Egyptian law. Please regard, among other things, the following subjects:
1. Counterfeit money
2. Drugs/narcotics - even in the smallest quantity.
3. Any weapon and/or ammunition.
4. Pornographic materials are forbidden in Egypt.
5. It is strictly prohibited to bring fish, coral or features of nature (any kind) from Sinai to Israel.

When traveling in the Sinai region it is best to stay on guard. Automobile drivers at night do not drive with their lights on and only flash other drivers when a car is approaching. Also, one must look at not to be in crowded areas and avoid any places that do not look secure. In recent times Egyptian authorities have gotten tighter on allowing Muslim extremists into the Sinai region. Most of them try to target vacationing Israelis and Americans.

There are not that many dangerous fish in The Red Sea, however some fish can get a bit terrotorial. When this happened I just swam in a different direction and they left us alone.
One fish to watch out for are the Lion Fish which are very distinctive (see photo). They are slow moving and have never chased me or anything like that, but respect their space.

A: Link to the up to date? Good luck ;-) The cost is about 20 euro, I guess it is for each direction.
