We found this fab little place, it was about 3 or 4 places towards Dahab from the Penguin. It had fairy lights and plenty of cats, most of the seating was arranged on cushions and rugs on the floor.
They were open late, and never had a problem with us wandering in at midnight for choccie pancakes!

There are lots of restaurants and bars along the waterfront here. Its just a case of choosing your favourites!
I have a long list in my book back in the UK of good places we visited during our stay, until then this tip will be under construction!
Do remember though that this is a predominantly Muslim Country and so not everywhere serves alcohol - if you want a beer with your dinner ask if they serve it first, if they dont they can probably get it for you from somewhere anyway!

A walk along the waterfront once the sun had gone down was a nightly thing for us whilst we were here.
Walking along, people watching and browsing the enormous range of menus on offer.
Its well lit up all the way around the waterfront and there are plenty of people so it never felt scary.

The photo or the sight on Dahab bay again.
I like this very much !
We can walk along The Waterfront of Assalah, from the beginning till the end & along the stretch you will see places to eat, drink & chill out.
With loud western or Arabic music blasting away the night !
Non-chalant for me anyhow...

Restaurants, cheap & not so cheap are a lot in this area.
There are people luring you insdie their restaurant.
Look at the menu first then you can decide.
All are affordable to most of you anyway but not to me.

There's also a cove in The Waterfront of Assalah where you can chill out or maybe having that private quiet moment in Dahab.
There are boats, children playing around & some locals trying to do their fishing at night as well !

ALL the photos taken on this tip were taken around & in The Waterfront of Assalah ! Just because almost everything that you fancy in your own habitat at home could be found here.
Souvenir shops are plenty here ! Just take your picks...

The waterfront of Assalah is told the most developed part of Dahab.
Well, just because it has many places to eat, drink & sleep, it could be called that ?
certainly, this is the liveliest area of Dahab anyhow...

Limited nightlife in Dahab, as its quite a sleepy and relaxed town. Most people go for the diving, therefore big drinking is not really done on a night out.
There were a few bars though, to encourage a few beers
