Managed by a dutch copple and with help of a dutch cook, Peanuts is the place to go for a good (feel at home) meal for a good price. Try the pepper steak, it's exellent. they were also the first with the famous sate with indian peanut sauce.
Prices are between 3 euro (huge salad or soup) and 7 Euro (meals).
Peanuts is also a great place for just having a beer (or 2)

There are plenty hotels and restaurants in Hurghada as it is a major tourist place.
Favorite Dish: Hurghada has an excellent selection of Egyptian, Middle Eastern and international restaurants.
Although the native fare is very simple and mainly consists of bread, beans and vegetables, restaurants offer a much wider range of dishes.
Egyptian cuisine is a mixture of Turkish and Arabic influences.
Specialities include soups and 'mezze' appetisers such as stuffed vine leaves, stewed fava beans and sesame seed paste dips. Main course favourites are grilled chicken, lamb shish kebab and stuffed pigeon.
The desserts are also delicious with delicacies such as baklava, a mixture of filo pastry, honey and nuts.
