Ad Duqqi Shopping

The area in Duqqi called Suliman Gawher is a typical local market. Fruit, vegetables and fish were on sale the Ffriday afternoon we ventured in. There are narrow roads and old buildings, but the produce sellers sit on the ground or on old chairs and display their goods. Fish sellers have carts, and cats congregate in expectation.
Prices are a fraction of those in proper shops and supermarkets like Metro, though stalls in other areas may be a bit more expensive. With quick turnover the produce is fresh.
There are other shops and mechanical workshops in the area, so there much to see, even if you have no interest in buying. The salesmen and women tend to be dressed in traditional ways
