Well, if you wanna try camel -ride, perhaps this is the best place. All you need to know is to agree on time and money. The usual rate goes at 50 EGP per hour as on February, 2005 but that might be the most optimistic rate considering you are a hard-begainer and that its not that touristy at that time.

The desert around pyramids is also a good spot for horseriding. If you are there in the evening be prepared with light warm clothes as it get a little cold and windy. Early morning is another prefered time to try horseriding.
