Luggage and bags: Leave as much of your stuf in your hotel as much you can as you don't want to drag it arround the sand the hole day.
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: You should have some good shades and a cap against the sun!
Photo Equipment: Take what you need as there are no stores! Some guys do sell some films and stuff but I didn't even dare to ask for prices ... I guess they try to do their best profit!
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: You will need some sun lotion as well!
Miscellaneous: Don't forget to take some sandwiches with you and water because there is no restaurant arround Saqqara, nor in Memphis!
Actually is good that the site is not spoilt by restaurants and other stuff ... and when you leave please take your plastic bottles with you!!!
