Although it is very small with few tables available - it is definitely a take away place - it has its charm. Pizza is "ok". If you ever had the chance of eating pizza in São Paulo, Brazil, don't expect having anything better here ! But, it is worth the visit !

An establishment in Cairo, Maison Thomas was founded in 1922. It reputedly serves Cairo's best pizza, though it is mainly a takeaway place (a few tables are available). It is located in Zamalek and is open 24 hours, and also serves wine and beer.

Maison Thomas is a Cairo institution when it comes to pizza. Regardless of the flavor, they serve some of the best pizzas I had in the Middle East. Portions are quite generous, with the regular pizza easily good enough for two. It's also one of the few (it's the only one, I've been to, in this case) places in Cairo that serves pork (as pizza topping, of course). They also have a small deli corner where you could get sausages and cold cuts.

One night we got this craving for a pizza... actually for a good pizza. We had read about Maison Thomas and decided we should give it a try. The place is very simple, with only a few high tables and high chairs... more like a take-away than a restaurant.
Favorite Dish: The pizza was amazing... perfectly cooked and with all the toppigs we wanted. A medium pizza serves two people - even two hungry people like we were.
It's definitely the best pizza we've eaten abroad (and even better thean in many places in italy).

In all of the times I came to Cairo and passed this place it never accured to me it has the most amazing&delicous pizza.
The place is renovated, which allows you to see your pizza being prepared. The high chairs and tables makes a very unique atmosphere.the walls is being painted with a dark green color which is the restaurant`s theme color.
Written on the sign that is was established in 1922.
Favorite Dish: The Thomas restaurant serves more than 20 kinds of pizzas some are vegetarian and some are with pork and ham,,something you will not find everywhere in Cairo or Zamalek.
It also serves sandwiches and salads.

The best pizza in Cairo (very welcome after a series of not very interesting meals in the more traditional restaurants and cafes) in a very welcoming black/white tiled, high table/stools environment
Favorite Dish: pizza....
