The Ramses II room will be located in Memphis Museum, the entrance fee will be included in Memphis Museum ticket (30LE,in February 2007). The room will located on your right, behind the security checking. You can take pictures inside. The best pictures should be taken from the first floor. There will be stairs on your left after after the room`s entrance. The huge statue of Ramses II was too difficult to be moved to other places, so they built the museum on the location where they have found this.

The Memphis museum is surrounded by stone wall and just next to the Sakkara pyramids area. The entrance fee in February 2007 was 30LE.It may increase after it. The great things to see will be Ramses II`s room, Ramses II`s sphinx, Ramses II`s statue, limestone sarchopagus and statues. There will be some vendors at the left side and some may follow you to offer gifts. Just be careful, dont try to entertain when any vendors will come to you and give you something. One of our tour mate was facing the problem to leave that area. The vendor has given him `a small hospitality gift`, he tried to refused it and the vendor just said it was only a free gift. He was running after him after few minutes for the tip. Check out the pictures.
