Pacha: Nightlife in Naama

by Chuchy

Pacha is the best club in Naama Bay, i think. It works every day, but the best day to visit it is Thursday. The entrance is not free, you'll have to pay $35 when the party has already started. But if you want to pay less, you can buy a ticket beforehand. It'll cost about $20 or $25. Pacha is very big club in comparison with other clubs in Naama Bay. It's in the open air. We went there on Thursday, there were a lot of people but it wasn't overcrowded.

Belly Dancing

by Beograd

What ever you do in Egypt, you shouldn't miss Belly Dancing. It is a "must do". Most of tourists go to usual exclusive restaurants or boats on the Nile, but a real experience is visiting a place where locals enjoy this phenomenon. Of course you shouldn't go on your own! Yours truly, didn't take her own advice so the pic you can see was taken on a 5* boat-restaurant "Nile Crystal" in Cairo. I did have good time, but it wasn't nearly as good as it was in Hurghada in a caffe where we spontaniously started dancing with a girl that was there. Well, there isn't a specific dress code but you certainly shouldn't come in jeans, or "sportly" dressed. Hurghada is a touristic place and you can wear whatever you want, but Cairo is more conservative enviroment and you should respect that.

Calypso: Dancing anyone?

by Beograd

There are many places for you party loving people. One of them is Calypso club where most of the guests are also tourists. The entrance fee is 30LE (1EUR=7LE) and that includes a cocktail of your choice, a dancing show (I've been told all Russian girls, don't hope to see an authentic belly-dancer here) and a great time with popular music.

Disco of the Nile Cruiser Sonesta Sun Goddess: CLEOPATRA'S NIGHT OUT

by schurlif

This is about the costume party in the disco of "our" Nile Cruise Vessel , the Sonesta Sun Goddess which took us for 4 days from Aswan to Luxor... the other days we spent in Cairo where we didn't go out much at night because of sheer exhaustion.... That one night , the staff of the Sun Goddess invited the passengers to dress up in a fantasy costume and join in the fun ....The five pictures show first Camila dressed to kill with make up , head gear and glittery dress full blast during the middle of the party , Camila in her new Egyptian fantasy dress getting ready for the party..... , next , Camila having changed her outfit ready to continue with more action on the ships upper deck... then the two of us as ( as I fancy to call us here ) Cleopatra and Ali Baba (from the Fourty Thieves...) and finally mystic and mysterious , etherical Camila , Ka Mi Ra , Cleopatra .....Lots of fun and good...

Walking around Cairo

by Todd2006

We enjoyed walking around Cairo at night and felt secure, but I wouldn't suggest 1 or 2 women walking around alone. For the most part they would be safe, but there would be a lot of attention brought to them and not always good attention.

"Deals" in Cairo: Back to the West

by Egyptophile

When you get back to Cairo after you trip to the South, if you are craving a little western food and western atmosphere, try "Deals", we were halfway through our time in Egypt when we spent a couple of days in Cairo, and were "tombed and templed out" and were glad to get back to a little bit of normality before heading out into Sinai.

Caffee

by Beograd

Of course if you prefer a caffe instead of raving the whole night, plenty of places for that, too. In fact, there are such spots on every few meters. But if you order a Fanta, be prepared to get some very sweet and non-carbonated orange-flavored drink with "Fanta" label on it. What you definetly should try are teas. First is my favorite "karkadey" that is the best when it's served cooled and anis tea which is very good for sore throat and tastes good.

Na'ama Bay at night: Night time in Sharm Al Sheikh

by Djamal

There is a lot to do in Na'ama Bay at night. The weather is cooler at night, I went there in June and the weather was brutal in the morning and in the afternoon. There are tons of restaurants, nice Arabic coffee shops where they serve shisha and Arabic coffee. There are some western fast food restaurants like KFC and Pizza Hut but I don’t think you want to eat there. You are on vacation and you want to experience something new.

Aquarius Nile cruise ship: Night cruise on the Nile in Cairo

by Diana75

Most of the tourists traveling to Cairo choose to spend a wonderful evening on a Nile cruise ship admiring the city by night while eating the tasteful local food.We couldn't miss this too!We have decided to do it on our last evening in Egypt, just before leaving for the airport. We have booked the 10:00 pm cruise and embarked on Aquarius ship. The best option would be to eat on the upper deck but our ship was not full that's why we had to stay for eating on the lower deck and then go upstairs to enjoy Cairo's view by night. The dinner includes also a specific show with a band singing live music, belly dancing and sufi dancing. The cruise costs around USD 20-25 and the drinks are not included in the price (usually a bottle of beer costs around USD 5-).During the show a photographer takes pictures of every guest and at the end you are almost forced to buy it (another USD 10- to remember this...
