ROYAL RHAPSODY CRUISE BOAT: SHEIK IT ALL ABOUT

by BerniShand

One evening on a cruise it is customary to dress up in `egyptian` clothes, and play silly games and be entertained by the crewIts ever so much fun, so do join in, your outfits can be bought very cheaply from the boatmen at Esna who will row out on small boats and haggle with you, throwing the goods up onto the deck and catching the money you throw back Strictly Egyptian !!!!!!

Egyptian Disco ! !

by travelinxs

If it's nightlife you're after you might be better off travelling over to Rhodes for a week. Most make their own entertainment. However, some of the hotels have nightclubs of sorts. We teamed up with a Maroccan friend Ali and hit a hotel club near Ramsis Square. We doubled the guest list. But we had a laugh!!Be careful of any tab you might run. Be sure you are certain of the prices. Alcohol may not be available even at some tourist spots during Ramadam.

Papa's Beach Club (Hurghada): Alcohol

by gussymons

This place is the best its going to get in Hurghada. Hurghada is all under development and so isn't the tourist trap that Sharm is...yet!PBC isn't exactly Home in London, but just go there, smoke a bit on those pipe things, and drink and dance with the other Westerners and some dodgy-looking Egyptian chaps!Just have a good time and dance to tunes at least 8 years old. Anything really.

Hard Rock Cafe: Hotel nightlife--zero

by kurt_de

In the town of Na ‘ama Bay, there is the Hard Rock Café. I haven’t been to it, or any other in town, but I would recommend you check it out. The problem is, that to take a taxi back at night could cost you $15 (more or less, depending on where your hotel is located). There is free shuttle bus service to and from the town provided by your higher class hotel, such as the Baron Resort. The run every hour starting about 5:00pm to 11:00pm. There are many restaurants, shops and some clubs here.In the hotel, there were very few people in the disco, and this was the case everynight.

Star gazing

Nights in Egypt are full of activity, there is always something happening on the streets: people walking, going to cafés or even working. If you are looking for western style night life, you should know that Cairo is a cosmopolitan city with an exciting nightlife for an Arab country. I cannot tell about Alexandria, but in the rest of the places that tourist usually visit in Egypt (Luxor, Asswan, Red sea coast) the night scene is mostly or solely adressed to tourists and chances to meet the local crowd are not that big.If you prefer to stay in your boat, you will have to cope with oriental dance shows, Arabs nights, where you will have to disguise yourself and this kind of stuff. If you prefer to The favorite outfit for these "glamorous" Arab night on board is the Cheelabah with a turbant. Another option is to dress up in Cleopatra's or Ramses's style, if you prefer to be more original.If...

Aswan Moon: Cold beer after a hot day

by FireMike

This was in Aswan on the water. When I say on the water, I mean ON the water. The restaurant actually floated. We never did any clubbing or full on bars in Egypt but this place was a nice place to eat and have a beer or two after a day in the heat in the heat doing the cultural thing. We also patronized the Isis Bar for some drinks which is pretty close to the Aswan Moon.

Nigthclub Isis hotel Luxor: Nigthclub Isis hotel Luxor

by F.Lade

In the hotel were we stayed over in Luxor , it were arranged an Egyptian evening , with excotic food , music and belly danserins. And also snakes dancing to flute music , an exciting evening. But remember that alcohol is relatively expensive in Egypt , and only available to tourists. Local beer is recomended.

Novotel - disco on boat: Any hotel disco in Luxor.

by kushari

Any hotel disco in Luxor. The Sabil disco at Mercure Coralia Etap Hotel or Disco on boat at Novotel. The disco on the moored boat at the Novotel has some gr8 tunes. As well as American and British pop/dance music, they have some funky Arabic tunes too. There is a belly dancer on after 11 p.m. at Sabil Disco at Etap Hotel most nights.Way past my bedtime as I always have an early start when in Egypt, to make the most of the cool mornings. Don't overdo it with the boob tubes, cropped trousers, hot pants, off the shoulder tops, tight short dresses, knee length boots. That applies to ladies and men.Egyptian man can't handle it!Just don't show up with trainers and you'll get in.
