The Spanish Cathedral is a gothic style one and was finished in 1.916. Was designed by claretian Luís Segarra Llairadó.

Malabo has several good restaurants, and perhaps the most famous is Restaurante Mesa Verde overlooking the harbor. With an excellent cuisine mix of local and spanish food. The fish is the local specialty.

Other restaurants are Club Náutico (delicious fruit drinks), Gue-Gue and the Cuatro Ases (excellent fish)
