Luba

by Ilya_Andriy

Luba is a little town (1.000 inhabitants) situated in the southern side of Bioko island. Is the most populated town in Bioko appart from Malabo. You can arrive there running along the coast road (a little more than 40 kms from Malabo) in daily buses.Their restaurants are famous due to the seafood that they cook.In Luba you can find too very beautiful white sand beaches as Playa Arena Blanca.

Bata

by Ilya_Andriy

Bata is the second city of E.G. and the first one in the Rio Muni mainland. If you arrive to Bata from Malabo the flight will take you 45min. From the airport to the city there are a few kilometers along a coastal road with beautiful white sand beaches.Bata is a wide and quite city in opposite to Malabo and surrounded by white sand beaches. Is a really pretty city, with beautiful spanish colonial buildings but a little neglected. You can see more about this city in my Bata page

Malabo

by Ilya_Andriy

Malabo is a little city situated on a natural crater shaped harbor at the base of Pico Basilé in a volcanic zone with a fantastic view. The city itself is rather picturesque and is plenty of graceful Spanish colonial buildings and has attractive views across the harbor.Make sure to see the Spanish cathedral and to walk along the road to the harbor to see the giant fruit bats which live in the trees. The market place should also not be missed. If you want more information, please visit my Malabo page
