This is the home of the Ilse Europa detachment of the 2nd Foreign Legion Parachutist Regiment out of Calvi. It is there photos below by the way.

To Call -- I tried for the fun of it in May of 2006-- it is Via satellite phone 0 820 20 70 45 anyway the cost is a lot about $10 A MIN but the person on duty was very nice and passed me to a member of the Foreign Legion Parachutist Regiment that happened to be from Houston Texas. He gave me the story of this place. So I guess seeing Europa Island on the VT list lead me to explore virtually and telephonically anf for less than $100 in telephone charges had a nice visit.
