When you are looking for a good restaurant to have lunch or dinner in Kintampo, you will not find a lot. As far as I know there are no decent restaurants in the centre of the town.
There, the only places where you can find food are market stalls with bread and fruits (nice for breakfast or lunch) or some "chop bars" where you can buy some really nice meals, normally jollof rice and fried rice with chicken or eggs. Those meals all cost close to nothing: about 20.000 cedis per meal ($ 2,-) and you can find them especially around the central tro-tro station.
